Simply stated, the goal of Nebari.Net is to expand upon one small portion
of the vast world created by The Henson Company's science-fiction masterpiece,
Farscape. By creating a profile of the Nebari race, their culture,
and homeworld, we are not only engaging in art (and speculative science)
for its own sake and celebrating the legacy of Farscape past and future,
but hopefully providing a resource to authors of fan fic and creators of Farscape-related
fan art in other media. We believe that by keeping Farscape fandom
alive, we increase the odds that the show will eventually return, in some
form, and prove itself more enduring than the short-sighted decisions made
by Bonnie Hammer and the suits at the Sci-Fi Channel. Others are strongly
encouraged to use any of the background material provided here, and to expand
upon. We ask only that you credit the source and include a link to Nebari.Net.
In the months and years to come, we will be bringing you cosmological
and biological speculations, fan fic, manga, costuming, photo galleries,
and many more things Nebari related. On rare occasions, we will include
episode transcripts (only rarely, since many other sites are already devoted
to this), such as this one.
Nebari.Net is:
Nar'eth (concept, design, cosmology, fic, costuming)
Mellá (design and artwork, fic)
Leh'agvoi (manga, schematics, fic, etc.)
Sa'jathan (fic, linguistics)
Thrin (photography, graphics, costuming)
Llar'en (astrophysics)
Comments, suggestions, and questions welcome. Please send e-mail's
to Nar'eth at lowredmail@mac.com.
